Well there were 3 of us joined the volunteering program held in Kuala Woh, Tapah. Basically we're giving hundreds of free spectacles to those Orang Asli. Lunyai jugak nak perform exams on that huge crowds but it's okay, think of charity and helping people, then you'll be able to do well :) Kalau nak reminisce, lama jugak dah tak dapat join volunteering program disebabkan kekangan masa. Haih. That was a great experience though as we were able to do refraction (that intimidated retinoscopy.lol) in such areas (if you know what i meant). It was a great opportunity though.
Those Orang Asli may get limited access to eye care practices and so why don't we come and provide access to them, isnt it better? Help people and He will help you in some other ways. InsyaAllah.
We have our own culture and so do they. So, there were several things we need to aware and be more like behaving-their-way through our presence there.
Ouh yes, not to forget, it even happened to be a bit challenging when some of them were illiterate and so you gotta do some sort of modification on the examinations. That's cool though.

| Here's the thanggggg And guess what, after the program was finished, walaupun penat tahap dewa, tapi nak jugak mengular,,makanya kitorang pun naik lah Cameron..fefeeling nak minum Vanilla Tea kt atas sana. Yeah it was great and worst come to worst, we arrived late at Puncak Alam campus sbb jammed kt PLUS highway. but luckily pakcik guard was so baik and i think dia kesian banyak kot tengok muka dah macam tak terurus. Well truth be told around 2am jugak sampai kolej. Allahu. Btw bunch of thanks to Hani and Adda for the rest of the weekends ;) |
